We invite you to read the third edition of the report dedicated to deep tech startups. Over several dozen pages, we have presented the fortunes of 225 companies registered between 2018 and 2022. By drawing on "hard" data, we present the basic morphology of this segment of our entrepreneurial resources, which is so important for socio-economic development. What pleases us most is that, despite the fact that fate has dealt us another historical turn afer the pandemic (the Russian aggression in Ukraine), startups are generally doing well. Their model of birth and operation in the first several months of life has not changed. It remains a slow path "forward" powered by the founders. However, what casts a shadow primarily on the pace of development is still the shallowness of the capital market. The stream of investor capital flowing into innovative, technological projects still resembles a trickle rather than a river.
In the report, in addition to changes in the ownership structure of startups and changes in ownership packages, the reader will find a financial analysis of technology startups, in which we identify those entities that generate revenues and profits. We also look at the financing structure of technology startups, analyze the share of the Venture Capital sector and the use of subsidies for the implementation of research and development projects.

During the V International Climate Summit TOGETAIR 2024, the premiere of the first report on the Polish climate innovation sector GreenTech Poland 2024 "Analysis of the GreenTech startup sector in Poland" took place. The analysis of 133 startups in the GreenTech sector, which we present to you, is probably one of the first attempts to describe the nature of this type of enterprises in a more accurate way. In the report you will find detailed data characterizing the ownership structure, management issues, financial situation and characteristics of financing sources. For a more detailed description of the analyzed community, we have divided it into two areas, which in the literature are considered to be the components of GreenTech, i.e. entities acting "on the side" of the climate – ClimateTech – and those dealing with "tidying up" our planet – CleanTech. In addition to analyses, the report includes a range of information on problems related to climate change, expert statements and case studies of interesting startups from the GreenTech sector.
